Holy Week

This Sunday, April 9, we commence Holy Week with Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the beautiful musical journey of the "Requiem" by John Rutter. Our choir will be accompanied by an array of instruments and soloists that will fill your spirit.

Children are invited to participate in our palm parade and blessing and Sunday school.

As Christians, we look at the terrible day when Christ died called Good Friday, April 14, through the lens of the Resurrection. Our Good Friday service is being led by our very own Reverend John Gibbon on Friday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. It is our hope that you will come to this moving observance of suffering and glory.

Easter Morning Festivities include an uplifting service with the York High School Brass Ensemble and special singing by our choir from Handel's "Messiah". Our guest minister is the Reverend Tom Norwalk, Associate Conference Minister of the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ.

Immediately after the service, our youth are hosting their Annual Bake Sale. Please consider making your favorite treat for Easter morning.
